Instead of Ariza the Lakers have Artest. The Rockets offered him a one-year deal and because he had bird rights Artest opted out of his contract.He said the first team to offer him a deal was the Lakers.But don't forget Kobe's and Ron's relationship in the Playoffs maybe Artest will come and go.In my opinion Kobe and Ron better be freinds when they become NBA champions again!
